As early as the product design phase, developers take into account sustainable materials—the environmental impact of the materials used, the product’s carbon footprint, its recyclability, and numerous other criteria. The raw materials of the products come only from selected suppliers. In addition, these materials are tested for their health compatibility as well as legal compliance. Ecological and efficient product manufacturing also plays an essential role in production planning. High material efficiency and lowest pollutant emissions are the focus.
