The protection of your personal data and privacy is very important to us. That is why Schreiner Group GmbH & Co. KG processes your personal data exclusively in compliance with the relevant statutory provisions.

2. General Data Processing Information

Affected Data:

We will collect personal data only if you communicate such data to us of your own accord. Above and beyond that, we will not collect any personal data. Any processing of your personal data beyond the scope of legally permitted uses will only be done on the basis of your express consent.

Processing Purpose:
Legitimate interest

Other Categories of Recipients:
Public bodies in the event of overriding legal provisions.
External service providers or other contracted parties.Other external parties to the extent that the data subject has granted his/her permission or transmission is permissible due to overriding interest.

Third-Country Transfers:
Within the scope of the performance of a contract, contracted data processors outside the European Union may be used as well.

Duration of Data Storage:
The duration of data storage is governed by the statutory retention duties and normally amounts to 10 years.

 

Rights of Users and Data Subjects:

You have the following rights vis-á-vis us regarding personal data relating to you:

Right to information about the processed data, to further information about the data processing, and to copies of the data (Art. 15 GDPR)

Right to rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)

Right to erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, to the extent that further processing is required according to Art. 17 (3) GDPR,

Right to restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR

Right to data portability, i.e., receipt of the data concerning you and provided by you, and to transmission of such data to other providers/controllers (Art. 20 GDPR)

Right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning you (Art 21 GDPR)

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing by the controller of personal data relating to you infringes data protection regulations (Art. 77 GDPR)

3. Processing of your Personal Data

3.1. Visits to our Web Pages

When you visit our web pages your web browser will automatically transmit your current IP address so that you can receive the desired website contents. This IP address is additionally stored and processed by Schreiner Group in the data center of a hosting partner (hereafter referred to as “we”, “us”) in internal log files for protection of the systems against attacks and for the simulation and correction of potential errors on the website. These internal system log files are exclusively processed for the aforementioned purposes and thus not for personalized advertising, tracking or similar purposes. 


3.2. Newsletter

You can voluntarily sign up for our Newsletter by stating your e-mail address. In this case, we will process your e-mail address and–optionally—other data in order to periodically send you e-mails with interesting news about Schreiner Group. Your data will not be passed on to any third parties and we will continue to store them until you unsubscribe from our Newsletter. 

If you no longer wish to receive our Newsletter you can unsuscribe from future Newsletters by clicking the “Unsuscribe” link included in every Newsletter.


3.3. Contact Form

You may use our contact form to leave a contact request by stating your contact details. The information you leave will be stored for the purpose of processing your contact request.


3.4. Online Applications in Talent Manager

Our Talent Manager provides you with an opportunity to submit online applications to Schreiner Group. Your data and documents will in all instances be transmitted in encrypted form to cloud servers of SAP and stored in our applicant management system. All data in the applicant management system will of course be treated as confidential information and processed by us exclusively for the purposes of the application process.


3.4.1. Registration

In order to be able to send an online application, you will initially have to set up a personal account with your name and contact details in our applicant management system. Without this registration, we will not be able to receive any online application from you in our applicant management system.


3.4.2. (Optional) Importing of Personal Career History

Following your registration, you may optionally import additional information pertaining to your career history from Xing or LinkedIn. If you would like to use this functionality you will have to log into Xing or LinkedIn once via our applicant management system and authorize the one-time importing of your data by us. In this process, we will receive neither access to your Xing and LinkedIn accounts nor to your Xing and LinkedIn passwords.

You may delete this imported information yourself from your account at any time; otherwise the information will be automatically deleted when your account is deleted (see Section 2.4.4).


3.4.3. Application

Following your registration and login with your account, you can apply for a job by using the online process. To do so, you will need to upload your application documents into our applicant management system. You may use this process either to apply for specific job opportunities or to send an unsolicited application.


3.4.4. Deletion of your Application and your Account

In the event of a negative reply, your application will be deleted in accordance with statutory provisions no later than six months following the negative reply. If we would like to include your profile in our pool of applicants for other jobs we will contact you separately and, if necessary, you may consent to the extended storage period for your application. 

If you have not used your account in our applicant management system for more than one year it will automatically be deleted. We will inform you about the impending deletion one month in advance combined with offering you the opportunity to consent to an extension of the storage period by another year.

4. Cookies and Other Technologies

Cookies may be set when visiting this website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the hard drive of your computer and enable recognition, but do not allow you to be personally identified. Cookies are used to design our website offering on a pseudonymous basis for you and make it easier for you to use our website.

Pixel tags are used for the same purpose. Pixel tags are small graphics that can be used on web pages enabling logging and log file analysis for statistical purposes. Below we will explain in greater detail how these technologies (hereafter collectively referred to as cookies) are set.

 When accessing this website, you may consent to or reject the use of cookies. When deselecting cookies individual functions may no longer be available.

 

4.1. Website Analysis and Optimization

Website Analysis and Cookies are used on our web pages to optimize the web pages.  For instance, this enables us to identify, on a pseudonymous basis, what contents are more popular or less popular with the users of our website. For the same purpose, we also use the data automatically transmitted to us by your browser when you visit our site. However, prior to this use, your IP address will be anonymized so that we are unable to reference your IP address to you personally.

 

4.2. Cookies on our Company Website

On our company and career site, cookies are used in combination with the service "Google Analytics", which is offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze how visitors use our website.

Your IP address is shortened by the activated IP anonymization within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference of your IP address.

You can object to website analysis and optimization with Google Analytics at any time. To do this, you can install the browser plugin from Google Inc. in your web browser: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

 

Server Log Files

The site provider collects and automatically stores data in server log files that are transmitted to us by your browser. These data contain:

– Browser type/browser version

– Operating system of the computer

– Referrer URL

– Host name of the accessing computer

– Time of the server request

These data are not personal data. These data are not merged with other data sources. In the event that we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use, we reserve the right to subsequently examine such data.

Legislation has granted you extensive rights to ensure fair and transparent processing of your data. Naturally, you will be able to assert your rights to information, correction, deletion, blocking and your rights to objection at any time, for instance by sending an e-mail to Datenschutz@schreiner-group.com

You may also correct or delete your data in our applicant management system yourself by logging in with your personal account and changing or deleting your data. Please note that corrections in our applicant management system may no longer be taken into account in application processes that are already in progress. In the event that you should delete your application or your personal account from our applicant management system, this will result in your application no longer being considered in the application process.

7. Changes to This Privacy Protection Statement

We reserve the right to change our Privacy Protection Statement from time to time in order to comply with current statutory requirements or in order to implement changes to our services, e.g., when inserting new offerings. Our new Privacy Protection Statement will then automatically apply to your next visit.

If you have signed up for our Newsletter or have an account in our applicant management system we will inform you about impending changes with reasonable advance notice so that you will have the opportunity to object to such changes. If you have not objected within a reasonable period of time we will assume that you have consented to the changed Privacy Protection Statement.
