Assumption of Social Responsibility.

Planting of an apple tree.

Partnership with the Berglwald School in Oberschleissheim.

Junior journalists from the student newspaper from the Berglwald School conduct an interview with Helmut Schreiner.

Promoting young people is also the idea behind initiatives like “Girls Day.” This orientation day gives girls insights into technical vocations, thus opening up new perspectives for subsequent career choices to them.

Voluntary mentors assist general school graduates.

During plant tours the teachers of the partner schools familiarize themselves with the vocational training specialties offered by Schreiner Group.

Social responsibility has always had a high priority at Schreiner Group. The company makes regular donations to 30 different charities. Among others, these include the Albert Schweitzer Foundation, SOS Children’s Villages, Senior Citizens’ Aid, and various parishes. (Example: the “Schleissheim Table” of the Caritas charity which provides food to needy people.)

In October 2006 – inspired by an initiative of the Works Council – a permanent fund drive was launched in which every employee can voluntarily participate.

The company fosters good-neighborly relations with the Augustinum Therapeutic Educational Center (HCA) in Oberschleissheim. The facility employs disabled citizens, who—for example—carefully crafted over 5 000 candles for a customer mailing project for Schreiner Group.

Social Responsibility.

Schreiner Group regards itself as a positive factor of society and embraces its social responsibility consciously and with enthusiasm.

Among other things, this includes projects assisting in the development of students, the collaboration with institutions, associations, colleges and universities, as well as a wide range of social and cultural activities.
