First German Supplier with NASPO Certificate

Around the world, the North American Security Products Organization (NASPO) certifies businesses which offer security-relevant products. The organization applies extremely stringent evaluation criteria and awards its certificate exclusively to applicants that can demonstrate a seamless security architecture. The actions are designed to preclude potential acts of fraud or loss of confidential data due to negligence, to the highest possible extent. If an incident does occur despite such precautions the respective company has to be able to take quick and systematic actions to afford its customers the best possible protection. Schreiner ProSecure submitted to the comprehensive NASPO audit and was the first German provider of security labels and functional components to receive the coveted certificate in March 2009.
A comprehensive internal security policy is the prerequisite for this certification. Schreiner Group has established clear rules for handling security-relevant information and products across the entire value chain – from purchasing and warehousing, production, data protection and IT security to plant security and waste disposal. The actions are backed by an integrated security management system which includes the organization as well as all employees and suppliers. Every individual is familiar with the clearly defined protection mechanisms and applies them in their daily activities.
This leads to a high level of security awareness and active security commitment in the company’s day-to-day operations. Employees are issued clearly defined rules for handling confidential data and product information. Suppliers and partners receive detailed lists of security-related requirements and are able to precisely adjust their products and services to them.
This security is now externally documented by the NASPO certificate as a quality seal which the company has to earn anew every year through regular audits and re-certifications.
