Strong RFID Solutions on Metal
Two Solutions, Many Options
RFID solutions provide transparency and simplify logistics processes in many different industries. But the application of labels to metallic surfaces used to be prone to functional limitations. Schreiner LogiData has developed two convincing solutions to remedy this problem.
The ((rfid))-Flag-onMetal-Label is applied directly to metallic substrates and is therefore ideally suited for marking metal containers and components. The label itself does not directly lie flat on the surface of the component. Instead, it is applied in perpendicular position to the metallic substrate.
A different approach is pursed by Schreiner LogiData’s newest solution: the UHF-onMetal-Label uses the metallic substrate as an “auxiliary antenna”, thus making a virtue out of necessity. Both solutions are already being successfully used in the field. Particularly in the automotive industry, they have opened up a host of new options in production.
