A Case for RFID
Schreiner LogiData produces a colored, pre-printed label for 3D Systems. The label provides optimum adhesion to plastic substrates and is used for product labeling, tracking and tracing, and as copying protection for 3D printer materials.
3D Systems has pioneered solid imaging solutions enabling users to create physical models from digital, three-dimensional design drafts in an extremely short period of time. The company applies RFID labels by Schreiner LogiData to the materials. The tags identify them and provide key information on the type and grade of material, authenticity as well as traceability.
The solution, which combines two high-end technologies, was developed in close coordination with 3D Systems.
