RFID technology subsidiary to be integrated with Schreiner Group

Oberschleissheim, February 22, 2010 – To strengthen the significance of RFID as one of Schreiner Group’s strategic technologies over the long run and in line with its lean-enterprise strategy, Schreiner Group announced that it will integrate its X-ident technology GmbH subsidiary effective March 1, 2010. x-ident will support all of the Group’s divisions with its specialized expertise as an element of the “Competence Center Schreiner LogiData.”

Helmut and Roland Schreiner, the shareholders of Schreiner Group, said, “By integrating X-ident we have pooled our comprehensive RFID expertise within the Group. x-ident’s manufacturing know-how will help us supply innovative solutions to our customers at favorable costs, particularly when it comes to large-volume requirements.”

The integration of X-ident technology GmbH will enhance Schreiner Group’s capabilities by specialized manufacturing expertise in the field of cards and ticketing.
